KYLE H.

Hee-You-Stis.

Here is my story. Back in 2015, it was HARD to make it as a full time wedding videographer. Today, videography is more popular than it has ever been. Those days, it was the first thing couples cut out and all of us video folks wanted nothing more than to film full time. I supplemented the dream with nursing school and starting a family with my AMAZING wife. Our first son was born in 2018 and I was making enough to get by through making videos while going to nursing school. I would graduate and work in a hospital at the start of 2019. Still refusing to let go of the dream, I would work nights and every other weekend would go straight from the hospital to a wedding that needed to be filmed that same morning. I felt that it was the responsible thing to do as we would continue to have more boys and my beautiful wife dedicated her time to being home with them. Finally, I told myself I needed to commit. Wedding film had proven to be my passion. I never wanted to let it go. I left the comfort of my very stable job in January 2022 and haven’t looked back.

I am extremely. grateful to have earned one thing in particular- PERSPECTIVE. There was a huge contrast between seeing people on the worst day of their lives and filming others on the best day of their lives. Wedding video is insanely fulfilling. Better yet, it is always evolving! I am humbled and proud of the work put in to make a dream a reality and I pray that it is apparent when sharing that passion on your wedding day.
